Definitions

1. Package or Shipment: Any goods transported from one place to another within the logistics system.

2. Prohibited Goods: Items whose import or export is restricted or banned due to national interests and international laws.

3. Dangerous Goods: Items that may cause explosions, fires, or pose risks to human health, property, and the environment during transportation, loading, unloading, or storage. These shipments require special permits and appropriate documentation.

4. Customs Declaration: A written or verbal statement in which the declarant specifies the intended customs procedure and provides the necessary information for customs clearance and the issuance of a bill of lading.

5. Declarant: The owner of the goods or their authorized representative who declares the goods to customs in accordance with legal regulations. In electronic declarations, identification is verified through a certified digital certificate issued by authorized entities.

6. MSDS Form (Material Safety Data Sheet): A safety information document verifying that an item meets air transport safety standards. It includes details about the item’s composition and must be reviewed before shipment.

7. Net Weight: The weight of the goods without packaging, measured on a calibrated scale.

8. Gross Weight: The weight of the goods, including packaging, measured on a calibrated scale.

9. Volumetric Weight: The weight calculated using the formula:

(Length × Width × Height in cm) ÷ 5000

10. Chargeable Weight: In accordance with international regulations, the higher value between the gross weight and volumetric weight is considered the chargeable weight.

11. Consignor (Owner of Goods): The individual whose name appears on the original purchase and shipping documents. If the purchase was made through a banking system, the documents must be stamped by the bank. The delivery note must be issued in the consignor’s name or properly endorsed with a verified signature.

12. Bill of Lading (BOL): A document issued by the international transportation company that serves as a shipment contract and a receipt confirming the transfer of goods to the carrier.

13. Consignee (Recipient of Goods): The designated recipient of the shipment at the destination, provided that the shipping documents are issued in their name. This can be the buyer, their legal representative, or an authorized person.

14. Force Majeure & Acts of God: Events beyond human control, such as natural disasters (floods, earthquakes, extreme weather conditions, pandemics), which prevent the fulfillment of contractual obligations. Wars, internal conflicts, and armed disputes are also considered force majeure events.

 

Types of Shipping Methods

 

Consignors can choose from the following shipping options, each with different costs:

• Door-to-Door (D2D): Includes pickup from the sender’s location, export clearance, and delivery to the recipient’s address. (Customs clearance at the destination is the consignee’s responsibility.)

• Door-to-Airport (D2A): Includes pickup from the sender’s location, export clearance, and delivery to the destination airport. (Customs clearance and transportation beyond the airport are not included.)

• Airport-to-Door (A2D): Includes transportation from the departure airport to the recipient’s address. (Pickup from the sender and export clearance are not included.)

• Airport-to-Airport (A2A): Includes transportation from the departure airport to the destination airport. (Pickup, export clearance, and final delivery are not included.)

 

Payment Methods

 

Consignors can choose from the following payment options:

• Receiver Pays (RP) / EXW: The recipient covers all shipping costs, including customs duties at the destination.

• Sender Pays (SP) / DDU: The sender covers the shipping costs, but the recipient is responsible for customs duties at the destination.

• Sender Fully Covers (DDP): The sender pays all shipping costs, including customs clearance at the destination.

• Cash on Delivery (COD): The recipient pays for the goods, shipping, and customs duties upon delivery.

Obligations & Responsibilities

1. The sender must accurately declare the value, contents, weight, and details of both the sender and recipient. Any discrepancies or false declarations will be the sender’s responsibility.

2. The sender confirms that they have reviewed the list of prohibited items on the company’s official website and have not falsely declared their shipment. The company is not liable for damages or penalties related to prohibited items.

3. The list of prohibited items is periodically updated. The sender is responsible for staying informed, and the company bears no responsibility for any changes.

4. The sender must disclose any shipments requiring special handling and obtain relevant insurance; otherwise, the company is not liable for damages.

5. VAT is payable by the customer.

6. Signing the receipt or placing an order constitutes full acceptance of the company’s terms and conditions.

7. Shipment insurance is optional and calculated separately upon request.

8. Any claims for compensation will be settled in the local currency of the recipient’s country.

9. Shipping rates for dangerous goods or special items are determined on a case-by-case basis upon submission of required documents (MSDS, Proforma Invoice, etc.). Additional packaging costs may apply.

10. Customs duties at the destination are the consignee’s responsibility. If unpaid, the company bears no liability for confiscation, return fees, penalties, or other charges.

11. The company and customs/security authorities have the right to inspect shipments at any time. Delays due to government inspections are beyond the company’s control.

12. If the sender agrees to cover customs duties at the destination, the shipment must be sent under DDP terms. Any delays in payment will be the sender’s responsibility.

13. If shipping rates increase by up to 10% due to currency fluctuations, no additional charges apply. However, increases above 10% will be shared by both sender and recipient.

14. Signing the Proof of Delivery (POD) confirms receipt of the shipment in perfect condition. Any claims after signing are void.

15. Deliveries to remote areas may incur additional fees and require collaboration with local postal services.

16. If a shipment is returned due to an incorrect address, return costs will be charged to the sender.

17. The company is responsible for shipping but not the shipment’s contents, which are declared by the customer.

18. If the recipient fails to complete necessary import procedures, the company bears no responsibility for any resulting losses.

19. The company provides shipment tracking services.

20. The company is not liable for damages related to customs handling, warehouse procedures, or airline processing but will assist in filing claims.

21. Dangerous goods require prior approval and valid MSDS forms before shipment.

Non-Shippable Items

1. Hazardous materials, dangerous goods, and prohibited items as per IATA and ICAO regulations cannot be shipped.

2. Shipments for individuals or entities listed in international sanctions are not permitted.

3. Embargoed goods cannot be shipped.

4. If the required customs declaration is not issued, the company cannot proceed with the shipment.

5. Items deemed unsafe or illegal for transport by the company cannot be shipped.

6. Shipments with incomplete or improper packaging will not be accepted.

Cargo Insurance Regulations

1. Cargo owners can insure their shipments by paying 3% of the item’s value plus shipping costs. Compensation is subject to a 20% deductible in case of damage or loss.

2. The company reserves the right to modify packaging to meet international safety standards if insurance is requested.

3. Cargo owners must report any loss, discrepancies, or damages within 24 hours in writing.

4. A missing shipment confirmation will only be issued after 45 working days from the date of loss, following necessary investigations.

5. If the sender does not declare the shipment’s value, it will be considered valueless, and the company assumes no liability for losses.
